By improving the City's Website Citizens can be more easily involved in City discussions by allowing them to contact a City Council Member via email. This option allows people, shy or not, to get a message to the City from the comfort of their own home, without having to feel intimated for public speaking at the City Council Meetings. The city's Website can help a local Business promote their business as well, for a small fee. The money collected would help pay for the City's Website as well. All the Businesses would be displayed in a random order as not to show favoritism to any certain business. A link to a Business site can offer feedback from customers, provide information about the company and advertise `weekly deals' 24 hours a day. The Site should post City and City Council decisions, as well as dates and times of up coming Events and Meetings. |
