I am committed to a balanced environment in Newport Beach: a good natural environment, a good community environment, a good business environment.

A GOOD NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. Clean beaches with good water quality are vital to the city. For over sixteen years I have been working on local coastal issues and will continue to focus on controlling what is discharged into the bay and ocean.

A GOOD COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT. I will protect the integrity of our neighborhoods from incompatible uses and insure that we have the level of recreational and senior services that we expect. I will work for better traffic management systems so that we improve the flow of cars through the city.

A GOOD BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. Thriving businesses are an important key to providing a high level of services. I support the Business Improvement Districts in the city and will strive to help them achieve their vision.
