I'm Gregg Figgins, and I live in Valle Vista. I grew up here, and I'm a Hemet High School graduate.

I retired from H. U. S. D. in 1999 as an English teacher at Hemet High School. I taught wonderful students and worked with dedicated teachers and staff.

I studied at U. C. Berkeley (A.A.) and U. C. Riverside (B.A.). I completed my teacher training at San Jose State University before I served in the Army. I later returned to San Jose State for my M.A, and then completed my Ph. D. in education at Stanford University.

I also worked in the banking and real estate business. I am a member of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayer Association.

I'm married and have two adult children who attended the public schools. Since my retirement I have been active in community organizations.
