- Making Our District Competitive
-
I strongly believe that the way to shrink our budget gap, and improve the education standards in our schools is by putting our district at the forefront of innovative ideas in education, and by pressing to make our district competitive in the region. I will do this by enhancing our academic achievement in the district, and by putting together a community supported vocational program in our high schools.
- Promoting Parental Involvement
-
I will focus on engaging more parents in their child's education. The first--and best--teacher is always the student's parent. It is a universally accepted fact that students with parents actively involved in their child's education perform better.
- My Commitment to the Taxpayers and Community of San Juan
-
I will use my experience to pursue policies which follow the guidelines of being based off of common-sense, and that are truly innovative, and fiscally responsible.
