- Educational background includes engineering, sales and marketing.
- Very involved father of two girls, I have taught science in their classrooms, chaperoned overnight field trips, founded the Science Night program.
- I know most of the school staff, principals and superintendent and understand the issues in the district.
- I am experienced in managing people and large projects under fiscal restraints.
- The Hope district is moving to basic aid funding and needs special care and attention through the transition. I will see that it gets what it needs.

At Issue: Last Spring the Hope School District board decided to change the district funding from Revenue Limit to Basic Aid. This transition to Basic Aid will take several years and eventually result in more dollars per student. Why wait several years to make the transition instead of doing it now?
