I have been living in Santa Barbara with my wife Nancy Grinstein for over 24 years. We have two amazing girls - 14 and 7 years old. Yes, I remember Frimples and The Earthling Book Store! I have had children at Vieja Valley Elementary School for nine years and as an active, in the classroom parent, have witnessed many changes over that span of time.

I have been the CEO of two successful technology companies, most recently Miramar Systems. I have written a book on leadership, entitled Barefoot in the Boardroom. I surf, play volleyball, taught tennis, am a musician, a pilot, and like many of you endlessly chauffeur my children around town.
