  • No teacher layoffs.
  • Academic Performance Index (API) Improvement of 5% District Wide!!!
  • Budgets that retained the integrity of the 3% Reserve.
  • School Board acceptance of plan to fund NEW HIGH SCHOOL and modernize Carlsbad High School.
  • Increased Developer involvement to fund school facilities.
  • Opened and Completed ON TIME and ON BUDGET both Calavera Hills Elementary and Middle Schools.
  • Current construction of Poinsettia Elementary. Projected to be completed ON TIME and ON BUDGET.
  • Hired new, highly qualified Superintendent as well as 3 new and needed Assistant Superintendents.
