  • 5 years as Tracy Parks and Recreation Commissioner
  • 1 year Tracy Planning Commissioner
  • 14 years Tracy City Council, 8 years as Mayor Pro Tem
  • 12 years as San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (ACE Governing Board)
  • 6 year South County Fire Protection Board member

- Co-founder of the ACE train (1994)
- $65M in downtown renovations, no new taxes or charges to current citizens
- Approved and began the Grand Theater project
- Over 800 acres of new parkland since 2005 including a new 500 acre wetlands interpretive center planned near Tracy Blvd. north
- New Fire admin. building
- 2 New Fire Stations
- New streescape
- New parking lots and space
- New multi-modal station planned
- New City Hall
  • 2 new fire station
  • 8 new police officers on the street
  • 10 new firefighters working for us
  • $8M for Youth Sports park
