- President of Windsor Schools PTA 04-05, 05-06. Treasurer of Windsor Schools PTA 02-03, 03-04, Classroom volunteer for all three of my kids.
- PTA representative for school district Financial Advisory Committee 9/04 to current.
- 2006 Superintendent's Award for outstanding service to the school district
- Volunteer for a national women's scholarship program for 26 years. Served as CA State Chairman from 1998-2004. Inducted into the Hall of Fame.

- Assist in planning for the continued growth of our schools which will almost certainly include construction of a new school site.
- Ensure that all available financing resources are used and allocated fairly to each school site.
- Analyze strategies to augment students' personal growth through the arts, athletics, and technical training.
