I am a proud, pro-choice, pro-working family Democrat. I consider myself a progressive on the core Democratic issues of choice, environment, labor, education, healthcare and seniors, for example, and a moderate on matters of homeland security and defense. My reason for continuing to serve is to add value, and I have worked hard for a dozen years to make a difference in the lives and livelihoods of my constituents and their communities.
