Ray Roberts is running for the state Assembly because he believes that the constituents of the 67th District want a representative who will listen to, work with, and stand up for them in addressing their needs and concerns. He believes they want a voice of reason in Sacramento who will work for bi-partisan solutions to move our state forward. He believes they do not want a partisan warrior or a pawn of political patronage that only listens to party bosses or special interests.

Ray Roberts believes he is well qualified to serve in this role with the skills, business experience, common sense, and commitment to make a difference for all constituents in the district.

Ray Roberts has a strong business background with more than forty years of experience in the information technology industry. He has been in various technical and management positions with IBM and start-up information technology companies. He knows what it means to be successful in the business world, what it means to be a collaborative leader and a problem-solver, and what it means to be honest and ethical.

Ray Roberts will able to work closely with the legislative leadership in Sacramento to achieve real progress in addressing our needs. His priorities include restoring our educational systems, improving health care, protecting our environment, and supporting small business development. He will work for fair and common sense resolutions to divisive issues like illegal immigration. Above all, he will listen to his constituents.

The task of moving our state forward must start with a bi-partisan effort to bring all of our legislators together to solve our problems, address our concerns, and make sound decisions on the critical issues we are facing.
