  • Currently, he is Chicano Studies and History lecturer at California State University, Channel Islands and Oxnard College.
  • He has a BA in History and Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and MA degree in Chicano Studies from CSUN.
  • Jose has served on various professional organizations governance board.
  • He has served on various committees at the universities that Jose attended and taught at in general.
  • Jose has given guest lecturer on various topics at various universities and colleges around the United States.
