Abstract:

The proposed Charter Amendment would conform the Yonkers City Charter to state law regarding when a public works contract or purchase contract requires public bidding. The Charter Amendment would require public bidding and Board of Contract and Supply approval when a public work contract is in excess of $20,000 and when a purchase contract is in excess of $10,000.
