Cecy opposes the conversion of school properties into housing projects, making the school district a property manager/landlord collecting rents and becoming a tenant paying rent. Providing education is the main charter of a school district, and all the cities composing the school district, mainly the city of CERRITOS should work in partnership with the district to achieve that mission, not by converting and taking away its real estate properties.

As a city councilperson, I will bring back the will of the people and not the will of a few into the process of governance. I will evaluate the over all masterplan and the fiscal plan of the city and provide input that will enhance the quality of life of all residents as well as the students in the community. I will priorities public safety, mobility, economic opportunity, balanced budget and improve all public services to all people in the community.
