We may need to modify how city council makes its "major" decisions that have fiscal impact and that affect resident's taxes, property appraisals, etc.When there are major decisions to be made at the federal and state levels, special elections can be held. I am all for that at the municipal level. It may take more time, but it optimizes input. It could be done via the internet, if not by an actual vote at least by an "electronic" two way "fireside chat". |
