I have closely followed the School Board for seven plus years, first to be an informed parent but then as an advocate for keeping the middle school in Wayne. During that time I have spent countless hours in the schools helping to enhance the educational experience for our children and establishing good working relationships with many of our teachers and staff. I understand the inner workings of our schools and see many opportunities for improvement.
In my opinion, Radnor is at a cross-roads. We have challenges with our budget, need to hire several top level administrators and we need to establish a strategy and action plan for the future of our school system.
I believe that my education, professional expertise and in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of our school is needed to help regain control of this organization and re-establish the role of the School Board. Radnor schools, like other organizations public and private, have a wide range of stakeholders pulling us in many different directions. I have experience helping organizations understand their constituents, define a course of action and set into play the necessary controls to achieve those objectives.
In addition, I believe that my demonstrated communication skills and ability to generate an environment of team work will be a critical component to helping us pull together as a community.
In summary, I believe that I have the organization, communication and professional skills to lead Radnor School District into a solid future of educational excellence at a responsible price to the taxpayers. I promise to give my full attention to the matters of the school and request your support on Election Day.
