The development of the former Haverford State hospital property has been, and will continue to be, the most important issue facing Haverford Township. Pursuing the correct development plan at Haverford State Hospital will create an important tax base for the Township as well as a legacy of open space for our children. I will continue to keep the public involved in the plans and decision making process for this site. We are in a unique position to be able to solve a number of township problems through maximum and thoughtful development of recreation space at the property, including the addition of some urgently-needed sports fields. |
