Qualifications for Mayor

Presiding over meetings, selecting contracted services, participating in public hearings; developed annual budgets, allocated resources for Administrative, Legal services, and General Payrolls. Represent the city at various events and keeping the city vibrant and safe are the prime responsibilities of a Mayor.

Requirements and Qualifications: I equate the responsibilities and duties of a Mayor to that of an elected Board Member for an organization. Whether the organization is a private company, a public institution or an Homeowners' Assoc., it does not matter--the fundamentals of the job remain the same. Presiding over meetings, selecting contracted services, participating in public hearings; developed annual budgets, allocated resources for Administrative, Legal services, and General Payrolls.

As a former elected Homeowners' Assoc Board Member-- I had the good fortune to represent my community for 12 years --with 6 years as the Association's President: I did it all--presided over meetings, select contract services, participated in public hearings, developed annual budgets, allocated resources for Administrative and General Services including Legal and General Payrolls.
