Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Palmdale

I started his Law Enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and was assigned to Wilshire, Devonshire, Rampart, Central, and North East Divisions. Later I became a Collision Investigator with LAPD. Sandoval has been in the Field of Law Enforcement since February of 1990.

In 2002, I joined the Los Angeles County Police where he has worked the position of Investigator for the Internal Affairs Unit and other assignments throughout the Los Angeles County.

I have served in the Marine Corps since 1984. While on active duty, he was stationed at 29 Palms CA, Camp Pendleton CA, and Okinawa, Japan. After my active duty period, I remained in the reserves while attending the Los Angeles Community College and California State University. As a member of the Marine Corps Reserves, I has been called back to active duty four times to serve the nation in conflicts and war.

I returned from my last combat tour in Iraq in October 2006 where he was promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant. Sandoval is specialized in the field of Counterintelligence which is the front line of defense in the war against terrorism.

Sandoval was born in the City of Los Angeles, and has been living in East Palmdale since 1992. He has one son, Cory.
