These are the reasons to vote for Steve Andrews

Since I have been on the Cupertino Sanitary Board, we have had an exceptional record in preventing spills, which could cause health and property issues. We are currently in the process of upgrading 34 areas that we have identified as trouble spots. We will do this at no cost to our customers.

Our board has also developed strict guidlines for collectors of fats,oils,and grease. These collectors have in the past occasionally dumped these maaterials down our sewage system. This causes blockage and could result in spills. Since we have brought this to the attention of the voters and local authorities, the proceedure has all but stopped. Very strict fines have been placed on those that have continued

Finally, we have been able to keep our system in an up to date state and still have our users rates some of the lowest in the state. We have also brought the district in on budget every year I have been on the board.

This is an area that I am not only concerned about, but feel that I can continue to be of great help in.
