We have accomplished a lot in the last four years;the former Navy base is now "The Crossing"; "The Shops at Tanforan" are a great success; Thanks to Redevelopment, the "Avenue" has and will continue to receive long needed improvements, and permits have been issued for new housing.
With an impending Caltrain Grade Separation, outdated Library complex, ageing pool and recreation facilities, and a budget shortfall, we still have a lot of work to do. I have proven I can provide the leadership necessary to guide us through the challenges we still face, and I will continue to build upon our accomplishments.
