Ensuring Proper Learning Material in our Classrooms

We must ensure that our Children have the appropriate material available to succeed

I have Teachers tell me that they have insuffecient numbers of textbooks for all our Children...I have Administrators tell me that it is a matter of Publishers not sending the amount of books that were ordered.

While I may believe that Publishers could send the wrong Number of books, I find it hard to believe that it could be in so many different subject at so many Schools within our District.

At Current, Our district is on a 3 year curriculm rotation Cycle. I would propose better accountability by Staff to ensure that a the number of books ordered is appropriate to ensure that all students have 1 each, plus we order some order in the event that the Publishers possibly "short-change us on our material.

There is "NO" reason for our students to have to share material to the point they currently do.
