I am looking forward to providing a more rational and moderate choice among the five candidates in the special election on April 8, 2008.

As a Republican candidate, I would favor more of a free market philosophy in meeting challenging economic and social issues rather than relying on strong regulatory and government control. One example would be to create a strong Mexican economy that creates well-paying jobs to prevent more undocumented workers from leaving Mexico and attract back those who have already left.
