The State Treasurer can and should play a critical role in continuing Pennsylvania's change for the better. As the first line of defense for Pennsylvania taxpayers, we need an independent and watchful eye on our commonwealth's bottom line. With that, we can continue to fund the critical programs our citizens rely on, while using this important office to launch new initiatives like expanding access to healthcare, stemming the pending mortgage crisis, and making college affordable for every single student in Pennsylvania.
