I'm a working class woman of color and a lesbian. I have spent my life working for civil rights, racial equality, women's rights, enviromental and social justice. I have been active in ending domestic violence against women and an advocate of food justice.

My work background is in mental health and since moving to the East Bay in 1998 I have worked for various non-profit organization of issues of concerned to older citizens such as aging in place and health care for the uninsured. I am currently an independent consultant for enviromental health products.
