El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park's growing populations are not adequately served by the County.

We must do more to tackle key issues -- traffic, open space, law enforcement, education, economic development and the proposed Mather airport expansion -- that, if not resolved, may adversely impact the long-term welfare of our community.

As a successful local business owner who values our community's assets, I will work as your County Supervisor to:

• Advocate a smart-growth policy that protects open space, and fights traffic and other impacts before future housing is added.

• Build more sports and recreational facilities.

• Make certain that our neighborhoods are safe by ensuring that law enforcement, fire and medical, and senior services have the resources they need WITHOUT RAISING TAXES.

As an elected Director for the El Dorado Irrigation District (EID), I've helped to reform our agency into an award-winning, financially strong operation with excellent customer service and water quality.

In fact, EID's upgraded Wall Street ratings and other financial triumphs have saved rate payers MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

And having served on the El Dorado County Board of Education, I am proud of our award-winning schools.

Major challenges lie ahead; I will make sure we do things right.
