This is my introduction, a brief biography and a list of my endorsements.

Friends,

I am a candidate for the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee in the 58th Assembly District in the June 08 primary. As a longtime Democratic Activist for almost 20 years, I have volunteered for many candidates. I have been Assembly District Chair (Ads were the building blocks of the Party) and an Executive Board member. I have been ex-officio and an alternate to the County Committee. I have received the Democrat of the Year Award in 1996. I am now a member of the Mark Twain Democratic Club and the United Democrats of the San Gabriel Valley.

I have been a schoolteacher for almost 30 years, 27 of them in the Montebello Unified School District. I have lived in the San Gabriel Valley all of my life and have graduated from Montebello High School. I have been a member of the Montebello Teachers Association since 1981 and have served on the CTA ABC Committee (our state PAC) for nine years.
