Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Santa Clara; State Assembly District 24

As a lifelong progressive Democrat, a proud parent and a committed Willow Glen neighborhood and community leader, I am running for a seat on the Santa Clara County Democratic Party Central Committee to ensure that our local Democratic Party continues to grow and thrive.

I believe I am the best candidate for the Democratic Central Committee because of my nearly 25 years of grassroots Democratic activism. In college, I was a student leader and served as the State President of the Young Democrats of Wisconsin. I have run political campaigns, organized Democratic clubs, walked precincts for Democratic candidates and, in 2006, even ran for public office myself as a candidate for the San Jose City Council.

Throughout my many years of Democratic activism, I have worked hard to bring new perspectives into the political process that reflect the diversity of our changing community.
