Full Biography for Ryan P. Mulvey

|
My name is Ryan Patrick Mulvey. I am a native San Diegan and a resident of Scripps Ranch, in the 77th AD. I was educated in the public school system (Jerabek, Marshall, Scripps Ranch High) and have witnessed how liberal educational policies are effecting the minds of our youth. I am a devout Christian, and believe that America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and the greatest philosophies of Western Civilization. I am actively involved in the community. Through my church, but through other organizations as well. I am an Eagle Scout and still involved with the Boy Scouts of America, and its Sea Scouting Division. I believe in the principles of Scouting and its positive impact on generations of American boys. The ACLU and other liberal, secular organizations threaten this great tradition of excellence in leadership education. I am currently a student at the University of San Diego, Class of 2010. I am a double major in Political Science and History, with a minor in French. I am Vice-President of our Pre-Law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, International Law Fraternity, and am also involved with University Ministry, Pi Delta Phi French Honor Society, and numerous campus organizations. I work two jobs in order pay my way through school. I was taught at an early age the benefits of personal responsibility and self-dependency. I am an Honors Fellow for 2008-2009 at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute,a past Boys Stater, and a former delegate to the Freedom's Foundation at Valley Forge. I am a member of the American Guild of Organists and the North American Vexillogical Association. I am currently an alternate member of the County Committee, and a delegate to the State Central Committee. I admire many leaders and philosophers. My personal philosophy, as well as political, has been formed by these individuals. They include, but are not limited to: Thomas Aquinas, William Blackstone, Edmund Burke, Lord Acton, Friedrich Hayek, Russell Kirk, William F. Buckley, Barry Goldwater, and Ronald Reagan. |
