1. Complete the process of $80mm proposed state funding for expansion of the existing jail by 1,280 beds. 2. Upon final state funding notification initiate the RFP design build process. 3. Coordinate with cities to obtain operational resources to operate jail once it's constructed. 4. Work with local business/industry to develop job training programs to assist local inmates to re-enter the community. To support and to follow the lead of Judges Vlavianos and Murray the result of which would significantly reduce recidivism. 5. Petition the court to dismiss the lawsuit which brought about current jail population cap now in force. 6. To protect your family with community policing, hiring additional Sheriff's deputies, and expanding county jail to insure inmates serve the full term of the sentencing. |
