Candidate for
Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Sonoma; Supervisorial District 2

I was born in North Carolina, on June 3rd, 1942. My childhood was spent in the Washington, DC area. In August of 1960 I entered the University of Virginia, with plans to become a physicist. However, I received my draft notice, prior to graduation, and joined the US Navy.

During my 14 years of military service I did 5 tours in Viet Nam. The last three tours were with Search and Rescue, in the area of Haiphong, North Viet Nam. Just prior to that last tour, I married Jeannette Tipon Anglin. She helped me decide to find a safer line of work. Subsequently, I was hired by Xerox Corporation, in San Francisco. I worked for 35 years as a Customer Engineer, Field Service Manager, and Service Planning Manager. I retired last year. The last two years have given me a chance to work with severely disabled Iraq War veterans. I continue to be amazed at their desire to be whole again, regardless of the obstacles placed before them.

I have served on the Democratic Central Committee, as an Alternate, and a member of the Finance Committee. My business experience has been very helpful, and I've made many new friends. I look forward to serving as a full member.
