Shall the Board of Education of the School District of the City of St. Charles, Missouri, be authorized to increase the District's operating tax levy by $0.28 per $100.00 of assessed valuation for the purpose of providing funds to pay for increased costs of the District's educational programs, utilities, building expenses, school supplies, teacher and non-teacher employee salaries and other operational items?
If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating levy of the District is estimated to be $3.5771 per $100 of assessed valuation. (Note: If Proposition A is approved, the District's total tax levy will remain unchanged at $4.37 per $100 of assessed valuation due to an estimated reduction in the District's debt service levy of $0.28 per $100 of assessed valuation.)
