My unique combination of education and professional experience helps make me a creative problem solver. With four years in the House of Representatives, I have been making a difference for the people of the 25th District and for Missouri. I have always been a strong advocate for education and health-care access, and have sponsored and supported legislation to improve the lives and future of Missouri's children. My defense priorities include a refocus on diplomacy. As the US reduces its presence in Iraq, we must move towards more strategic intelligence
