My record of dedicated public service is founded on over eightteen years of community involement serving on both local and regional committees. I bring responsible experienced leadership with a consensus approach to solving problems and addressing issues that foster cooperation and trust. As Mayor in 1999, I provided a leadership role on several important issues including the Youth Advisory Committee on Safety & Development, community planning forums on Danville's 2010 General Plan and appointing a task force of broad based representatives to address downtown parking. As Mayor in 2004 I served on the reigional committee for the Urban Limit Line renewal process with Mayor Abram Wilson. The re-authorization of this important measure preserving our open space was successfully passed by the voters of the San ramon Valley.
Our small town continues to enjoy its unique rural setting and high standards as a small comfortable place to live and raise our families. In sharing this vision, I ask for your support and your vote on November 4.
