I served on the Orange Fire Department for 30 years. Kathy (my wife of 32 years) and I raised our family in Orange Unified, and our four children are the fifth generation to grow up in Orange. My wife, Kathy, is a school teacher, as is our son, Casey. Our three sons graduated from Orange Unified Schools, and our daughter still attends school here in our community. I'm not a politician, and my family hasn't served in political office. I'm just a concerned citizen and family man looking for another way to serve my community. Priorities: Complete Accountability with Taxpayer Dollars, End Rubber Stamping of Spending Bills OUSD Must Live within its Means, More Money into the Classroom and Not into Wasteful Bureaucracy More Oversight in All Areas of the Budget, Expand the Regional Occupation Program and Create More Career Technical Education Programs Arianna P. Barrios 29,497 votes 43.5% Occupation: Business Owner/Parent Attended OUSD Schools Graduated from Orange High 1988 Graduated from Cal State Fullerton 1992 Started Career in Education Communication Manage a Marketing Communications Business Have two children attending OUSD Schools Priorities: OUSD Budget - Managing costs, finding savings wherever possible School Safety - Ensure students and teachers are in safest possible enviroment Test Scores - OUSD needs to reach standards across the District Basic candidate data supplied by the applicable elections official.
