Soon after being selected to the Board, I quickly pushed for the termination of a program that provided students who did not meet our graduation standards a certificate of completion. I have insisted on high expectations and standards and I am focused on making sure that our entire administration and staff have the necessary tools to achieve them. I will continue to focus on increasing our graduation standards by focusing on the children at an early and making sure that our entire staff works as a team to help every single student set the goal to graduate. I am confident that I can motivate parents, even those that work two jobs to take a larger stake in their children's success. I bring strong leadership, ethical leadership ... I will continue to insist on fiscal and administrative accountability.
