- The Citizens of Garden Grove worked hard to either get here or stay here; and deserve to be treated with the full respect and dignity of the City Council. Our concerns, as citizens need to be responded to.
- As much as I, myself, love fireworks - they are not what is in the best interest for the health and safety of our
citizens, so I would have to vote to ban them, since our City Council would not permit them to be put up on the ballot so that our citizens could vote on whether to ban them or not.
- Term limits were already voted on and is just one example of how self-serving our current council is.
- Eminent Domain is one of the ways we have reduced affordable housing, created insecurity amongst our residences, and have abused beyond its intended use for public good - by tweaking the definition of "public good". Eminent domain, as our city uses it today is plain wrong on so many levels.
- As citizens, we have to stop looking to the "government" to do more for us than we are willing to do for ourselves, because it invites them to pick our pockets and they have no respect for how hard it is to earn the money we earn.
We have to work together to find positive solutions to the problems that Garden Grove faces. Times are tough and we need to work together to get through them.
