Personal: Born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Coachella Valley in 1951.

I am the father of four wonderful children Melissa (37), Andrei (7), Viktoria (4) and Hannah (3).

EXPERIENCE

1968 Enlisted in U.S. Army

1968-1969 Served in Vietnam in 101st Airborne

• Screaming Eagles in Fort Campbell, Kentucky
• Received Bronze Star medal, two Air medals, two captain ribbons

1971 Vail Colorado in Forestry Department

• Attended work program for Vietnam Vets to return to civilian adjustment

Hobbies include boxing, fishing, gardening and being outdoors. I boxed in the all Army Boxing Team in Fort Campbell, Fort Carson and Fort Ord. In 1978, I opened the Ringside Boxing Club in Palm Desert and years later I moved the boxing club to Cathedral City. In 1997, the boxing club was renamed Cathedral City Boxing Club and is still in operation.
