  • Goleta resident since 1956
  • Served on the Santa Barbara School Board 1975 to 1992
  • Elected first Mayor of Goleta. Served on city council 2001 to 2006
  • Active in many community organizations, including League of women Voters, Planned Parenthood, Goleta Valley Historical Society and others
