The following are some key accomplishments of the Cambrian School District during the time of Susan Pyne's service on the Cambrian School Board
Completed 5-year facilities modernization project on-time and on-budget
  • All district classrooms and student bathrooms modernized and air conditioned
  • All school libraries and student services areas expanded or upgraded
  • School roofs replaced, as needed, and all school exteriors painted
  • Installed technology infrastructure to support 21st century learning environment

Maintained strong fiscal position of District and competitive employee compensation

Significant increases in academic and physical education test scores district-wide

Significant increases in number of students participating in district music programs

Received grants to support strengthening of math and arts programs

Bagby and Fammatre recognized as California Distinguished Schools

District-wide survey showed 94% satisfaction rating among parents
