- Student success
-
It is important that we provide opportunities for students to transfer to four year institutions as well as provide certificate programs for what were once known as "vocational" programs such as automotive programs, ornamental horticulture, and health sciences
- Textbook costs
-
Textbooks frequently cost more than the tuition and fees as our colleges. We must provide alternatives that will lower the costs of textbooks for students.
- Financial aid
-
Many of our students are working full time and still cannot afford to attend community colleges. We must ensure that students are aware of the vast variety of financial aid programs that are available to them. NO student should feel he or she cannot afford to attend our colleges.
