Candidate for
Council Member; City of Vista

My wife and I both come from large families, and we have two children of our own. I have enjoyed their company traveling and coaching. My wife and I are both teachers in the Vista Unified School System. I became involved in politics through several managed growth measures and was elected to the Vista City Council in 2000. Since that time, I have worked to improve the image of Vista through the redevelopment of the Vista Village project and the community projects including two new fire stations, a new city hall, the rebuilding of the Moonlight Amphitheater and a new recreational park. At the same time, I helped to maintain the semirural atmosphere found in parts of Vista.
