Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Ravenswood City School District

I have lived in the East Palo Alto community for over 25 years. I previously taught in the Ravenswood schools, Bell Haven, Brentwood and Willow. I have continued to work with young people since that time. I opened the first school age after school program for elementary students in 1988. I served on the East Palo Alto City Council for 12 years where I learned how to be a team player and a strong advocate for the community. Currently, I am the work with high school students who desire to attend a 4-year college or university.
