  • Vice-President of the Board. Since 2004 has served on the Quality Council. Previously served on the Finance Committee from 1998 through 2004
  • 35 years of experience in healthcare including patient care, information systems, and management. U.S. Navy corpsman 6 years.
  • Married 35 years. Oakdale Baseball Association (OBA) coach and board member for the past 5 years, the past 3 years as President.. Softball-OVYSA coach
  • Local 4H club project leader, Hickman Charter School advisory council, Oakdale Youth Sports Association, Blue Diamond Growers liaison committee.

Top Priorities if Elected
  • Our organizational performance needs to rise to the next level. This includes quality focus, financial stewardship, and process improvement.
  • The 35 year old hospital needs to be re-built. OVHD will be looking for alternative plans for the $85M project that will meet area needs.
  • A plan for the future of the long-term Oak Valley Care Center needs to be established and executed. The current facility needs to be replaced.
