Balance the budget by carefully tracking spending and use reserves ONLY when necessary
Our city should work toward a balanced budget every year. Uncertain times require city staff and council to spend based on revenues. The reserve fund (approx 12%)should only be used when necessary and not as a means to balance the budget every year.
