Political Philosophy for Lawrence M. "Larry" Farnese, Jr.
Candidate for |

Rising crime rates, a struggling economy, increasing healthcare costs, a problematic school district - Philadelphia has a host of problems that we must address. Each of these issues is complex and each is intertwined with the other. None has an easy solution and there are no silver bullets. In order to address each, we need a Senator that is innovative, determined and has a firm grasp of each problem. Perhaps most importantly, our next Senator must have the ability to forge partnerships and coalitions in order to move Philadelphia and Pennsylvania forward. My record proves that I have the dedication, gumption and understanding to do just that. By working with Mayor Nutter, City Council, the District Attorney, the rest of the Philadelphia delegation and + most importantly + you, I am confident we can accomplish our goals. By building relationships based on mutual respect and understanding, we will succeed in improving our quality-of-life. |
