Governing Board Member; Beverly Hills Unified School District

Measure E: I will work for unanimous School Board approval to hire a small team of independent fiduciary experts who have no conflict of interest. And I will empower our Citizens Oversight Committee to work with these experts to ensure accountability and transparency in the distribution and execution of Measure E funds.

Permits: I support phasing out Opportunity Permits in a fair and thoughtful manner as we become a Basic Aid district.

Communications: I strongly support quarterly Community Summits that bring together parents, students, board members, faculty and administrative leaders. We must establish a new dynamic of openness and create a communications structure that enables ongoing civil and appropriate dialogue.
