Board Member; Oakdale Irrigation District; Division 2

I was raised on the Blackhawk Ranch, Danville, CA. The ranch raised beef cattle and walnuts. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management. In 1974 I became a Licensed Health Technician. From 1979 to 1992 I worked for the Sunical Division of the Hearst Corporation on their 70,000 acre ranch east of Paso Robles, CA. The ranch raised cattle, alfalfa, and grain. During that time I managed the Purebred Quarter Horses and was to assist manager. My duties included payroll, and special events; including a visit from the Prime Minister of Austria to the San Simeon Ranch and trips to Florida, Washington D.C. and Kansas City. In 1992 I moved to Oakdale. I work for the Escalon Livestock Market and Dr. R. F. Goodbary DVM, Clements, Ca. I raise purebred Angus cattle on my ranch. Presently, I am serving on the Valley Home Municipal Advisory Council.
