This information is provided by the candidate |
QualificationsI earned my J.D. degree from Cardozo Law School in New York City and was a member of the Cardozo Law Review. Since graduation, I have litigated in the New York State and Federal Courts for 25 years. In addition, I have published articles concerning commercial and zoning law issues in the "New York Law Journal" and the "Real Property Journal of the New York State Bar Association". I have appeared in approximately 20 appeals in the New York State, Federal and Federal Bankruptcy Courts. Since 2005, I have been General Counsel at Camarda Realty Investments.
I have earned the respect of my colleagues and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the law. If elected, I pledge to bring the same level of accomplishment and productivity that I have shown as an attorney to serving as a Town Justice for the Town of Pound Ridge.
In addition, I have long been dedicated to volunteering in the community in Pound Ridge. I became a member of the Pound Ridge Planning Board in 1996 and have now been a member for over 13 years. I was a member of the Landmarks Commission. I have been a member of the Pound Ridge Lions Club since 2002, and am currently serving as president of the Pound Ridge Lions.
I believe that I have demonstrated to the community that I have the professional and personal qualities to make an effective, productive and fair Town Justice, and I respectfully ask for your vote on November 3rd. |
