Real Solution for YorktownBy J. Mark DrexelCandidate for Council Member; Town of Yorktown | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
It's time for experienced leadership, fresh ideas and a new direction in Yorktown to improve our quality of life.I'm sure you have noticed that our Town is stagnating. Shops and businesses are closing. Never before in Yorktown's history have we needed change in Yorktown Town Hall. Town taxes are outrageous ... so too are the ever expanding town hall costs and expenses. Many of us came to Yorktown because we had a local police force. We now have town leadership advocating we abandon our local police presence. Yorktown deserves better. We need skilled and proven leadership in Yorktown. We need new ideas, fresh thinking, passion and commitment. We need proven solutions, and people who will execute and implement quickly for the good of the whole community. This election is about proven qualifications. This election is about issues that matter. This election is about real solutions. It's time for experienced leadership, fresh ideas and a new direction in Yorktown to improve our quality of life. My record shows that I have Proven Leadership, Proven Service and Proven Solutions. As a councilman, I will be Committed to listen to the supervisor, my fellow Board members, the other elected officials, the Department Heads, the staff and especially to the residents and business owners. |
